There are a number of issues that the Obama and Trump administrations left unresolved. Here are the first that spring to mind:
- The U.S. support for the PKK/YPG terrorist group
- Washington’s inaction against the Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ)
- The S-400 deal
- The Halkbank trial
- Turkey’s removal from the F-35 joint fighter jet program
- Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) sanctions
- Washington’s increasingly pro-Greek and pro-Greek Cypriot position in the Eastern Mediterranean
