Turkey has been going through domestic, regional, and global challenges for the past several years. The country has overcome a failed coup in the summer of 2016, dealt with one of the worst humanitarian crises in recent memory, and confronted instability in the Middle East. U.S.-Turkey relations have been hit by unilateral U.S. sanctions and tariffs against Turkey. How these developments have been shaping Turkey’s domestic politics and its strategic choices in an increasingly unstable region continues to be under-discussed. A serious discussion of where Turkey stands today and where it might be headed is more relevant than ever to understand the policy implications for regional peace, as well as for the future of U.S. policy in the region. To explore these issues, please kindly join The SETA Foundation, Turkish Heritage Organization (THO), and Sabah Columnists Club, as we host a panel of experts on Turkey. *Lunch will be servedPanelists: Saadet Oruc, Chief Advisor to the President of Turkey and Daily Sabah Columnist Burhanettin Duran, General Coordinator of The SETA Foundation and Daily Sabah Columnist Hasan Basri Yalcin, Director of Strategy of The SETA Foundation and Takvim Columnist Ismail Caglar, Society and Media Research Director of The SETA Foundation and Takvim Columnist
