Fourteen Turkish-American and Turkish-Canadian undergraduate and graduate students gathered in Washington, D.C. from February 29 to March 4 as part of the SETA Foundation at Washington D.C.'s first Turkish-American Leadership Academy.

In collaboration with the Presidency for Turks Abroad, SETA DC planned a week of events and meetings aimed at exposing students to the complexities of Turkish domestic and foreign policy, as well as promoting a better understanding of the U.S.-Turkey relationship in the Turkish-American community. Students visited sites around Washington and met with policy makers, government officials, scholars, and more.
