A Keynote Address by

Her Excellency Emine Erdogan

The First Lady of Turkey

Turkey’s global humanitarian efforts go well beyond taking care of more than 3.5 million Syrian refugees. From establishing humanitarian aid networks in Syria, Iraq, and Somalia to helping minorities, such as the Rohingyas in South Asia, Turkish humanitarianism has reached millions across the globe in recent years. All this happened with little help from the international community, which continues to underfund global humanitarian needs. Millions of women and children, in particular, continue to be at risk of displacement, malnourishment, and mistreatment. Furthermore, the increasing anti-migrant sentiments around the world threaten a robust international effort. The SETA Foundation at Washington D.C. and MUSIAD USA cordially invite you to a Keynote Address by Her Excellency Emine Erdoğan, the First Lady of Turkey, and a panel discussion by prominent experts and practitioners to discuss the humanitarian challenges of our time.
